Eedi is on a mission to sustainably improve learning outcomes for 1 billion students by 2030. Over the last 10 years, we have been researching and developing ways to identify and resolve misconceptions students have about maths. Our products are beloved by teachers and have been shown to produce meaningful learning outcomes for students.

We are hiring for our first ever Product Manager dedicated to shaping and delivering an ambitious vision for Eedi Labs.

Eedi Labs houses our flagship product (eedi.com), which is used by teachers and students in over 16,000 schools to identify and resolve misconceptions in maths. It is also our real-world learning laboratory, where we design, build, and test new research-backed interventions that we believe can improve learning outcomes at scale. Behind each feature release is a commitment to rigorous theory and evidence, and each innovation ensures that Eedi remains at the cutting edge of the applied research community.

What you will be doing...

  • You will own the end to end product development process for Eedi Labs, working closely with Design and Engineering to shape, build, and ship features
  • Deeply understand the needs of educators and students around the world when it comes to the challenges and jobs-to-be-done of learning maths
  • Partner with our Academic and Learning Sciences teams to set the product roadmap in support of our ongoing research collaborations and new research opportunities
  • Understand and help contribute to the latest in learning sciences research on the most effective interventions to improve student learning outcomes
  • Use data to make decisions and evaluate the success of product changes or features after release
  • Work with our Engagement and Success teams to communicate and support new features

About you

You...

  • Are energised by the challenge of meaningfully improving maths learning for millions of students around the world
  • Can speak at length about a time when you have used both data and intuition to make product choices that has driven success with users
  • Have 3 or more years of product management experience

It would be nice if you...

  • Have worked on an agile team
  • Have experience with primary or secondary education, maths education, or education technology products
  • Have designed and implemented in and out-of-product experiments, including various methodologies such as A/B testing, multi-armed bandits, multi-level randomisation, factorial designs, sequential testing, etc.
  • Are familiar with research methodologies (observational studies, RCTs, qualitative interviews)

We believe that great work requires stunning colleagues, a balanced life, and the ability to make significant contributions to a mission you find meaningful.

Here’s what it means to work at Eedi...

  • The team is still small enough that you’ll always get a say. You’ll get to know everyone in the company.
  • Everyone who works here is pretty smart + friendly + ambitious... which I think is quite a rare combination!
  • We’re not driven by money, but we are well funded and profitable

Frequently Asked Questions

Where will I work?

Eedi is fully remote. From Brighton to Sheffield. We still meet up often though.

What does a typical day look like?

We keep meetings to a minimum. We have async standups most days. You’ll work on tasks from a Kanban style board that will be discussed during Tuesday morning planning meetings.

What happens at the company off-sites?

They’re a mix of company stuff and fun stuff. Often a morning of presentations, talks/unconference and an evening of food, drink and an activity. Think Crystal Maze, or AR darts, or a hike, or a live Murder Mystery. Even for “corporate-mandatory-fun” it’s actually good fun! They’re often in London but we’ve had off-sites in Brighton, Manchester, The Chilterns… Matlock… I’m hoping for Portugal 2025

4 day work weeks, did I read that right?!

Yes! You can optionally choose to compress your full time hours into 4 days and take an extra day off a week once you have passed your probation period. We have Tuesday and Thursday as core days where everyone works.

When can I start?!

Now.

I’m a recruiter, do you want to see some CVs?

No thank you!

Just one more thing...

There's one more, very important thing. At Eedi, we're committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. We believe that bringing together individuals with different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives leads to more innovative solutions and better outcomes for our students. We're proud of the progress we've made in increasing representation across our organisation, and we're always working to do better. We are an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.

We don't expect you to be an expert in everything listed above. We're looking for candidates who excel in some areas and have a strong foundation or interest in others. If you meet many of these qualifications but not all, we still encourage you to apply!

We can't wait to hear from you! Let's change the future of learning together!
